Mayawati is genius for findings ways for making money. Her government announced a scheme for allotment of business / commercial flats in NOIDA. But the entire area was allotted to few select private builders. In tendering process there was no transparency. Why was it not done when it is a statutory requirement? In spite of people’s protest tendering was done and accepted. One entire building flat was allotted to a single business man thereby depriving number of promising entrepreneurs the opportunity to open their own and competitive businesses. If these flats were allotted to small business men it would have brought more income to the government. More people would have got opportunity for entering into business. Besides, this would have ensured integrated development of the city. But who cares for integrated development or interest of small business men when it is fetching crores of rupees as kickback for concerned BSP minister, said Congress (I).
