Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi launched the 'Ahimsa Messenger' Programme -- an initiative by the Centre to address the violence against women - on Saturday. She expressed her concern over growing crimes and violence against women. "At one side women is performing well in many walks of life but at the same time the women in our country have been facing several atrocities against them. This should end" said Sonia Gandhi.
