Criticising the non-Congress (I) governments of Uttar Pradesh for not undertaking development in the state, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi during his recent five day public campaign from December 13 to 17, 2011 in central districts of UP said parties like BSP and SP have neither vision nor plans for taking Uttar Pradesh forward. Nobody can save UP unless the people in the state think for a change, said Rahul Gandhi. He said people are fed-up with governments which divides the state in the name of caste and creed. To end corruption and misgovernance there is a need for change in government. “What we need is a government of the common man. The state cannot progress till we have a government of aam aadmi,” said Rahul Gandhi. These caste based governments have been unable to understand the complexities of governance, added Rahul Gandhi.
