Mandsaur: Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi launched a scathing attack on BJP and its much hyped Gujarat model while addressing a huge election rally at Madsaur in Madhya Pradesh."BJP has been trying all its level best to grab power at any cost, by misleading people, spreading lies and misguiding the masses" said Sonia Gandhi beginning her speech..Slamming the Gujarat model, the Congress President lamented, "Nowadays, some people are talking big about Gujarat Model but they do not tell people that 40% of people living in Gujarat villages are not having adequate drinking water facilities. Every one child out two below 5 years is malnourished. About 27000 government posts for Dalits and Adivasis still remain vacant there. Dalits are deprived off their reservation rights in about 600 panchayats. The lands of the poor and farmers are being snatched away by the state government and sold to big industrialists".
